Rural Champions

Mr. Roberts is a young farmer member of the Potato & Onion Producers Association, and has developed the "Mother Farm" model to provide technical advice and transfer of good agricultural practices to farmers near his farm. It also assists farmers to access safe and adequate markets. It makes use of agricultural technologies such as water harvesting, drainage systems, irrigation systems, soil nutrition and pest control.
